I agree with you Melissa! So precious and so heartbreaking. Our God in an awesome God and we give glory to Him! Shanna
The joy on the kid's faces ... yet the sorrow that surrounds them... God is close to the broken hearted and saves those that are crushed in spirit.
Thanks for the slide show... it was amazing
God is great and God is good!
Thanks for continuing to let us watch the journey...it is amazing!
Thank you!!! ...and thank you Lord for Ahope! Isn't it the most amazing place? It totally captures joy in suffering....so grateful to see their precious faces again! Abe is so beautiful and obviously completely in love with his family!
Oh my, it's all really too much. All of those precious children. And how joyous to see your kids with their new baby brother. Shall we take a moment to dissect his beautiful features? Hello perfect eyebrows, bright Alexander eyes, juicy lips and what's going to be a magnificent, big smile. He's just wonderful! Guess his child to caregiver ratio just took a dramatic turn too... These updates are so special and emotional on many levels. Thank you for sharing your life this way! Love you guys!
Somebody LOVES their brother! How sweet.
The pictures, once again, are spectacular!
I will have to come back ... my emotions have the best of me right now ...
Abe looks right at home with his new family!

Sobbing. I am sobbing.
Another amazing video... Love all the pictures of Abe with his new family. Love seeing the pictures from Ahope... What sweet faces! Pretty sure I recognized a few little ones that I know have families waiting for them! :) Yah!

The first words out of Charis this morning was "Have they posted day 5 yet?" And of course I was able to share the beautiful pictures with her. Looks like everyone is adjusting quite well. So natural! Thanks for sharing once again your incredible journey. Abe Alexander... your family is amazing. Let your big sisters spoil you and have fun tackling those big brothers!

The pics of Abe with you all are so beautiful! And the other ones, how sad.....its so awful to think that so many of these babies will remain in orphananges through no fault of their own. thanks for sharing.....
You are right, no words! Sweet kids...precious, precious children.
And Abe??!! He is a serious model baby. BEAUTIFUL. And looks like he is full of JOY.
Praise the Lord!!!! Hurry up MOnday!!!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing this part of your lives with us!!! I bet I checked this site at least 3 times yesterday hoping to see more pics of precious baby Abe and his precious family. I can tell that he already feels so comfortable with all of you - he trusts you because he can feel that you all love and care for him so much. Thank you also for being such loving, willing servants of God!! Isn't it wonderful that God in His grace fills us with a sense of joy and purpose when we are doing for others according to His will?!?! Well done, good and faithful servants!!!
What beautiful pictures! This video made me cry--there was even a big picture of the sweet girl we sponsor at AHOPE that we met back in February 2006!
Your video is beautiful, but please note that pictures of AHOPE children are NOT permitted on line... AHOPE and the ET government take the privacy of the HIV+ orphans very seriously and AHOPE asks that no pictures of children (even children being adopted by families) be put online for any reason. Please respect their privacy and their policy and remove them as soon as possible.
Erin
HIV+ adoption coordinator for AAI, and mom to two AHOPE kids
Sorry, I also meant to say that many of the children you posted pictures of have adoptive families in process of adopting them, and many of them do not want their children's HIV status known, so the privacy of the adoptive families is also an issue.
I certainly know you meant no harm and am glad you visited with the beautiful kids at AHOPE (and brought them gifts).
Thanks for understanding,
Erin
After a long day of thinking about all the faces in this video and sweet Abe being held by so many that love him, I am overwhelmed w/ how the Father must see us on these occasions ... I am amazed at the hope and joy I see in so many of those faces in the midst of their very hard journey ...I will lift up this country ...
Thanks Alexander Family for sharing so much w/ us ... You know you are loved !!!
Em, your face in each picture is a prayer come true for me ... I feel as if I am there ... Hold him tight and give all the children there love from those of us here ...
I am a friend of a friend of a friend of yours. I wanted to write you and say thank you. Thank you for letting the light of your family shine so that all can see the glory of our Risen King! I don't know you, but you have blessed my life. I am sining praises to God over the adoption of Abe. Your story is spreading fast!
It's so great that you have someone to document this whole journey with pictures. What a blessing! I pray for a healthy and safe travels.
Absolutely Beautiful, on so many levels!
I've been praying for you guys all day long, and since Mel's email and talking to Pam it's revved up a notch. Know that. Rejoicing with you in the Lord's beautiful gift! I can hardly wait to share this slideshow with Michael tonight.

I can't tell you how much we have loved following your journey and your pictures. I sent the Day 5 slideshow to my husband yesterday at work. He said "I had to turn it off, I had to close the door to my office and cry. Seriously." Thank you so much for sharing with all of us. Your pictures feel like a trip home.
I didn't get to see the video either but would love to if its still alright. Praying for all of you, I bawled through the gotcha video, seeing all of your faces was incredible. God is GOOD.
