treslyn

Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,

1 Peter 1:8

Choosing joy over here at Team Alexander in light of another delay in courts. Joy is just better than bitterness huh?? So by God's grace, we will wait on Him to reveal His perfect timing to bring home our son. *****UPDATE- just got a call and our new court date is October 21st!! Yahoo! *****

Will you do me a favor? Remember this painting of sweet baby Abe? You can read the post here.

Well the creator of this beautiful painting didn't want credit at the time, but I have found a way to introduce her to you. She is a finalist in an Aaron Bros contest. Below are the instructions to vote for her! Her painting is clearly the best. :) I would really appreciate you voting for her!
So, here's what you can do... It only takes a couple of minutes.
~Scroll down until you get to the painting by Treslyn S. of Arlington (Her painting is at the top of the post)
~Select the painting by clicking on the little circle to the left
~Scroll to the bottom of the page, enter your email address (Aaron Brothers doesn't share your address or put you on a mailing list)
~Hit enter!

Thanks so much! Praying that our 4th attempt at court is the ONE that allows us to go get that boy and introduce him to everyone.

Praying for Oct. 21st. We wait as Paul says: "joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer".

I'm so glad you got a quick new court date, even though a week feels like an eternity right now. In our 48 hours with you, we once again got to experience the highs and lows of international adoption and all of the sweetness in between. Like you said, it's not for sissies! Drew and I feel so blessed to have you and Moody in our lives, and it was an incredible treat to get to spend time with you and get a little glimpse into your beautiful family life in Arlington. Abe is precious beyond words, and all of you are so wonderful to him. We love you and are praying for good news next week and peace and patience to carry you through until then... XOXO
