blessings
This was one of my favorite photos of Abe that we received while we were waiting for him! It just made me happy.
Today we were so blessed by a precious 15 year old! We have been friends with her family for years and they have been so supportive during the entire adoption process. Her mom was with me the day that we lost our referral, they rejoiced with us over the referral of Abe and they greeted us at the airport upon our return to Texas.
Her little brothers are in science with my kids and she brought us the most amazing gift today after class. I wept at the labor of love and absolute beauty! This was her first portrait........Moody told her we may sell it for millions when she is uber-famous. Can you believe how talented she is? What a treasure.
She signed the bottom left corner with her name and God.

Unbelievably gifted child. In more than one way!
Hi, I know you don't know me but I have been following your blog since I found it. My name is Kami and I'm from CO. My husband and I are in the process of adopting from Ethiopia. We are thrilled to see your handsome little man and look at your videos and pictures. You have the most beautiful family. may God bless you all. If you have any advice, we'd love to hear it. :-)
What a BEAUTIFUL portrait! I can imagine that you will cherish it forever.
peace and blessings to you all
beautiful!
Oh my goodness what a precious precious gift and a super talented young lady.
Wow I am shocked! I can't believe a 15 year old could hold so much talent! I love it!
I have been following your story the last few weeks and just adore your whole family! The first video posted by your friend of your family first meeting Abe was so powerful and made me cry. I then showed my boyfriend and he cried too. Now the discussion of adoption is in our lives more than ever! It's so exciting what the future holds! I know if we get married it's a real possibility that I too could be blessed with an "Abe". God is so good!
Oh MY GOSH! What an amazing, amazing work of art - that babe is so loved! And by people from NH too!!!

That is soo awesome!!! I'm very proud of her. :) I can't wait to see both the painting and the real McCoy!!!
You have my permission but not hers. She loved painting that sweet face. Thanks for blessing her...
You don't know me, but a friend of my wife's forwarded us your blog. We are in process of adopting from Korea. I just noticed we have something in common. Our referral from three weeks ago is in jeopardy because his foster parents may want to adopt him. Thanks for all you are doing through your blog.

I so love that pic of him too! It just looks like he's saying "OK you can come and get me now!" What a beautiful gift to have it captured in a painting! Such a priceless treasure and an expression of how very much he is loved and cherished! :)

The only thing that stinks is that was TOTALLY what I was going to do. I guess I'll have to think of something else.

Kristy :-)
