A Glimmer of Hope - LTBH Feature Film - Austin 2009 from A Glimmer of Hope on Vimeo.
Moody is simply the best hubby EVER- encouraging me to go, knowing that it will require him to care for the 6 kiddos at home, and one that doesn't sleep!! I am so blessed to have him as my best friend and helper in life! I will be asking for specific prayer requests closer to the trip and possible help for him as well, though he is fully capable!!! :)
We will spend most of our time down in the southern region of Ethiopia and I am thrilled as Eyasu and Abe are from the South! I just have a feeling that my life will be wrecked for the better as I experience so much of what breaks His heart. It is definitely a leap of faith to leave the kids, leave my man and go, but I just know that He is asking me to and so that gives me peace.

Though we are hoping to be there before then :)...it may be June and IF we are we would LOVE to see you and have you meet our newest babies!!!
I would love to know more about your impression about A Glimmer of Hope. I am wishing to build a well in the village that my future son was born in. I have looked into their org. as a potential help in this dream of mine. I would love to hear what you think and learn about the work they are doing.

wow!! so exciting! :) Nice hubby!!
it is funny that I came here today and read this-we are praying hard right now about my going on the trip with Ordinary Hero/10 Days to Ethiopia in July and one of my big concerns was going and leaving hubby and kids, even though he is also super supportive--thanks for just a nice encouragement that other moms of bunches of kids do this and it is OKAY if it is where God wants me to be!! :)
What a wonderful opportunity! SOOOOOO happy for you and I look forward to hearing all that God is doing as you answer His call!
God bless! <><

what an awesome opportunity for you! so proud of you for stepping out in courage and walking in obedience to God's will. can't wait to follow along this journey with you via the web. :)
So excited to go on this journey with you. Hope Rob and Moody will be sane when we return home!!
Wish I could go with you, but think Moody may need some extra hands while you're away. What a great work Glimmer of Hope is doing. May the Lord increase their efforts to benefit "the least of these".
Love,
Mom
I am so excited for you and can't wait to see what's going to be revealed to you guys!! I'm going to start praying NOW and then will pray more specifically once it gets closer :)
