empowering women through design
Please take a moment to watch this amazing video below. I went to college with Kirsten and I love what Raven+Lily are doing to empower women around the world. I immediately recognized the beautiful women from Ethiopia and can't wait to purchase some of the beautiful items they are making! I get so excited when people use their God-given gifts and talents to make a difference in the lives of those suffering from extreme poverty.Watch the video and then get shopping!!

I don't comment often but love your blog. I was so excited to see that some of the items are made by Burundian women (our son is waiting for us in Burundi). Thank you so much for posting this.

so inspiring! this goes along with the book I'm reading called "Forgotten Girls". I LOVE to know there are people out there making a difference for these women and that their hard work is being rewarded. hope you don't mind me posting this as well! i know you don't! :) (I'll also be doing some shopping!
