for this child I prayed

Avery is such a blessing! She prayed for her baby brother long before her parents had any inkling that we were being called to adopt an infant. She loves this baby so much (all the kids do). We have definitely been having a hard week over here at Team Alexander and she spent so much time on this little craft. It just made me cry- the sweet faith of children is such comfort!

We are claiming the truth of the Word and trusting in the Great Physician.

Remembering the song that played on the Abe day video........

Everyone needs compassion
Love that’s never failing
Let mercy fall on me
Everyone needs forgiveness
The kindness of a Saviour
The hope of nations

Saviour
He can move the mountains
My God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever
Author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave

So take me as You find me
All my fears and failures
Fill my life again
I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in
Now I surrender

Shine Your light and let the whole world see
We’re singing
For the glory of the risen King

We are still waiting on an actual date to see the neurologist.  We did see a new physical therapist today, and she confirmed our concerns to be true.

He indeed is mighty to move mountains and heal precious wee ones.

His ways are not our ways but they are perfect and He is good. Praying for that precious muncher who is getting the most love imaginable from his family, and praying for you. We love you more than words.

BTW that was Annie commenting above on my computer. She has been praying! (:

We love you guys so much and are praying and rallying my praying friends! Abe's life is such a gift and will continue to be used all to the glory of God! The Lord has entrusted you with a very special little person, who I believe He is going to use mightily! So, do not allow the enemy to take you down roads in your mind that lead to hopelessness, fear & despair! He will try to get you off course, but I know you know how to defeat him! The Lord handpicked you to be the parents of this sweet child and that you are well able for the task! What a privilege!
Love you, Kel

Remember... "For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways", also... "Because YOU love Me," says the LORD, "I will rescue YOU; I will protect YOU, for YOU acknowledge My name. YOU will call upon Me, and I will answer YOU, I will be with YOU in trouble, I will deliver YOU and honor YOU. With long life will I satisfy YOU and show YOU My salvation." from Psalm 91

He IS faithful! Lifting up your precious son and family to our Mighty God.

With much love

Averys heart is so pure and sweet, it is a blessing to witness her inner beauty.

Please know if there is anything I can do other than pray I'm here.

Your family is so dear to me and I hate for you to have more mountains to climb right now. I wish so bad that I could take all the questions away. There has to be a plan, it's just not clear yet.

Praying, praying, praying. Abe is such a sweet boy (and that's just in his pics!). I can't possibly fathom that something could be not right. But like you said, (along with my FAVORITE song) God is mighty to save! That first picture with your daughter holding him for the first time is my FAVORITE picture (not sure why I keep using caps) and the one part of the video that grabbed my heart once and for all and when I knew that adoption in some way or another would be in my future. Blessings to your family.

While preparing a Bible study lesson yesterday, I came across this nugget from Tim Keller: "Very often God asks us to endure something very difficult with nothing more than the general promise of his good will and desire to bless us.... God says, "Trust me. I will work it out." God will always give us what we would have asked for if we knew all he knows." I think this confirms what we profess to believe concerning His omniscience and His good and sovereign providence. I pray that He equip you daily with the necessary faith to appropriate His very great and precious promises. We will prove His grace sufficient!
I love you so much, baby girl.

Avery is such a beautiful little girl, inside and out. I remember the first time I saw her photo with her baby brother and thought how much she resembles my oldest. And, just like my oldest, it appears Avery loves to use her creative talents to demonstrate what is in her heart. We continue to pray for all of you and for Abe's appointment.
