appointment
Our pediatrician is amazing! He has been out of town the past week (so he has missed all of this)! He was such an encourager and cheerleader today- exactly what this mama's heart needed. He was able to get us an appointment with a pediatric neurologist tomorrow at 2:30. He pulled some major strings. One office told us today that the first available new patient was in March! Abe will be a year old in March, I don't think so!
Please pray for the appointment. We continue to place our trust in the One that graciously gifted us with sweet baby Abe. We will follow where He leads and tomorrow that is to a pediatric neurologist with Cooks Childrens Hospital.
"Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God!" Psalm 20:7

Phew what a relief!! Gotta love a Doc with connections. We'll be praying for you tomorrow!!
Blessings!
Heather
I will be praying for wisdom for the Dr., peace for you and good news for Abe!
That's such great news - especially to have such an amazing pediatrician. When Katie had to have major spine surgery (and as we went through ruling out other issues), our pediatrician was such a wonderful champion for us. That was one thing that helped us become more grounded in our fears, questions and decisions. It is such a scary time, but to know that someone so knowledgeable (other than your regular (and amazing) supporters) is out there will help give you peace during this time. We're thinking of you!
YEA!! What a blessing!! We will pray for clarity & excellent test results, and God's calm for you guys during this challenge! He IS so good!!
Praise God, HE is MIGHTY! Will continue to pray for you and your family (and the doctors, etc).
AMEN! Praying for tomorrow. And for rest and peace tonight.
Blessed be the name of the Lord! Thank you Mr. Pediatrician for pulling some strings. Thank you Jesus for carrying this sweet family as they seek out what is best for baby Abe. Praying for peace and wisdom for you all tomorrow.
I will be praying.
Michelle

Emily, thank goodness!!! I can't imagine having to wait until MARCH. Unacceptable, when your baby needs help.
Yes yes yes, this is good.
We are praying for Abe! How wonderful you were able to get in so quickly!
Gotta love that Dr. Raine! Please know that mighty prayers have been said and will continue on the north end of the street.
We will be praying.
Great news and we will keep all of you in our family prayers.
praying for you guys!!
I found your blog at the time you were picking up your beautiful bundle of joy....as an adoptive mom, foster mom and having recently visited Africa...I wept through your entire video. I had my husband and children watch it...just absolutely beautiful.
God's design is so perfect and perfectly orchestrated, in our flawed humanity it can be so difficult to piece together.
I have no idea how I "found" you again, but know that I am holding your family in prayer as you navigate through this journey.
Wow, that's so great that your DR could help out!
We're anxious to hear your results:)
Just wanted you to know that I love you and I'm praying for God's mighty hand to bring healing to Abe. Praise the Lord that you were able to get in to see a specialist so quickly! AMEN!
He is MIGHTY to save! We are praying in TN! Love, Kim
Delurking to say I hope you get hopeful news tomorrow. Adorable Abe and your family will be in my prayers.

I've been praying for sweet Abe and your entire family. I hope the appointment went well.
He can move mountains and appointments - praise be! Drives a momma crazy to WAIT when our babies are the ones in need. You all are in our prayers.
praying for you today!!! praying for a SKILLFUL doctor and God to do MIRACLES!
Love to little Abe!
Praying in Hong Kong. Hope you are finding the nearness of God to be your good. Know this must be a really tough week/wait. His grace is sufficient for your time of need....
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers!
I am praying for all of you. I KNOW that Abe is going to be fine. There is a joyous light in his eyes that is straight from God. He is going to do mighty things for the Lord. Just rest in Him...He's got this.
