appointment

Our pediatrician is amazing! He has been out of town the past week (so he has missed all of this)! He was such an encourager and cheerleader today- exactly what this mama's heart needed. He was able to get us an appointment with a pediatric neurologist tomorrow at 2:30. He pulled some major strings. One office told us today that the first available new patient was in March! Abe will be a year old in March, I don't think so!

Please pray for the appointment.  We continue to place our trust in the One that graciously gifted us with sweet baby Abe.  We will follow where He leads and tomorrow that is to a pediatric neurologist with Cooks Childrens Hospital.

"Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God!" Psalm 20:7

That's such great news - especially to have such an amazing pediatrician. When Katie had to have major spine surgery (and as we went through ruling out other issues), our pediatrician was such a wonderful champion for us. That was one thing that helped us become more grounded in our fears, questions and decisions. It is such a scary time, but to know that someone so knowledgeable (other than your regular (and amazing) supporters) is out there will help give you peace during this time. We're thinking of you!

I found your blog at the time you were picking up your beautiful bundle of joy....as an adoptive mom, foster mom and having recently visited Africa...I wept through your entire video. I had my husband and children watch it...just absolutely beautiful.

God's design is so perfect and perfectly orchestrated, in our flawed humanity it can be so difficult to piece together.

I have no idea how I "found" you again, but know that I am holding your family in prayer as you navigate through this journey.

Wow, that's so great that your DR could help out!
