life
I love this picture for many reasons. It is such a good depiction of our lives.....except I'm not sure where Issy is.... :) Notice the part of the curtains hanging down? Abe's full-face grin as he delights to watch the big boys throw Eyasu in the air? Random soccer trophy on the table and so on.......
I feel incredibly blessed that this is the scene that I get to witness on a daily basis. I am so full of all that He has revealed to us recently. The details for the October trip are really coming together, and for those that know my organizational skills, can attest to His goodness there! I am also so excited to tell you more about our meeting with the Glimmer of Hope staff last Friday and the way the Lord has worked out the project we are committing to partner with them- let's just say it is clearly a "God is in the details" story and has a beautiful redemptive element regarding the adoption of Eyasu.

Dying to hear friend. Call me Monday. Okay? Okay. :)
****This makes me smile****
Cannot wait to hear more!!! ;)
I can hardly wait to hear the rest!!!!
I LOVE the pic! It made me totally laugh!!!
I can NOT wait to hear what's going on though!!!!
LOVE this picture:) Your family is so joyful and I love to see that. I want to let you know that you crossed my mind today...and inspired me. I have been asking God to "search me"...always a daunting request b/c of what He may choose to point out:) Anyway, I was thinking about how I get so wrapped up in what is happening in our house and with our kids and how small that is in the grand scheme of things. And you came to mind:) You, who have just as much on your plate at home and are out reaching the world physically and through your blog. Love you, girl. Never doubt that you are being His hands and feet and heart in this world. And He is using you and your family in so many ways.
Hugs,
Joy
Love it when a family knows how to have some REAL fun! :)
Every time I log onto your blog I am inspired. You and your entire family are truly witnesses for the Lord! Thank you for just being who God made you to be and setting such a wonderful example for all of us!
LOVE the pic that is representative of your fun-filled, love-filled lives!
I am trying not to laugh, but Jeremiah and Elijah were just doing that exact same thing to Joseph today !

They are all so cute. My kids look like they would have fun wrestling with your kiddos!
Oh how I LOVE that photo of real life captured!
I can hardly wait to hear the rest of the story!
Love & Blessings,
Kim
P.S. Still sick that I am going to miss you in Nashville!
Emily,
I just wanted let you know that our embassy date for Temesgen is August 25th. You should look at the updated pics of him on our blog. Such a big change from the ones that you sent us. It looks like only Scott will travel:( I am so jealous, but realize that this is most likely God's plan.
That.Is.Awesome.
Love the whole scene!
I love this picture! Love the Alexanders :)
Hey Guys! Looks like a typical day in the life.....happy family.
Love & miss you.
Have a wonderful trip to Nashville.
Hugs all around.
Love,
Nanny
welcome home. love the photo too, your home is a safe and comfortable refuge to many. we love being in it!
Love the pic too!! And I love what's going on with Glimmer and your family. It was nice meeting you and Moody while you were in Austin. It's incredible to see God at work in all these stories of adoption. The adoption process for me continues to be a spiritual journey as much as it is something tangible. It builds my faith. And it's a blessing to read the same story again and again in the lives of so many. Thank you for continuing to share your life adventure, and how God is moving in the life of your family. Best, Courtney
OK... need more info! xoxo
