seeing Him work
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. "The Lord is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in Him. " Lamentations 3:23-24
I have to take a moment to give the Lord all glory, honor and praise for the work He is doing in Abe. Yesterday was one of those special days- I could literally SEE Him working, SEE Him strengthening him, making him more aware and what a blessing it was as Abe's mama. :)
I was reading the 8th chapter of Matthew this morning and became overwhelmed at the miraculous healing that Jesus did while He walked on earth. He healed a leper, a paralyzed servant, Peter's mother-in-law, cast demons out of many and this is just in one chapter of the gospels! That same healing power is taking place in Abe and we are humbled at all of those that lift Abe's name before the Father.
We had his 3 month evaluation today with his PT- (remember our big 6 month goal of sitting up right???) Please check out Abe below showing off for us today and last week. He certainly still has much strength left to gain, but he is working so stinking hard!! We sure are proud of him.

amazing! Hard work on his part, and yours. He is a determined little boy. It warms my heart. With God on his side, he can do so much. I predict that he will continue to surprise the doctors.

I too praise the Lord for His marvelous work in this little guy. And don't we thank Him for His provision of Susan who has exhorted and encouraged him all along the path. He is one motivated, hard working little boy.
And he has one super 'fro working!

Oh my goodness, look at Abey!!! God is SO GOOD! He is so MIGHTY! This just blesses my heart to no end, Em! Praising the Lord with you! Just imagine what amazing things the Lord is going to do in, for, and through this little man!

blessed Abe in sitting up and who knows what he has next for Abe...
God is so very good. Many are the Miracles He still makes!!!!

I am in tears.
You know I have traveled this road with our miracle boy Sam. I have seen Him work in the same way! The photos take me back to this time last year when we had a different therapy 4 days a week. And here we are today ... Sam no longer qualifies for any therapies. He is right on track! Our God is Mighty To Save!
I see the same determination and strength in Abe. Way to go buddy ... we are SOOO proud of you (and your Momma)!

YEA ABE!!!!! You are so right about seeing God work right before your eyes. Rob and I said after OKC that ABE is a miracle and what an honor it will be to see God do great and mighty things through ABE.

YES!!! I never expect less from my God...but I will never get over the feelings I get when I SEE it....when I wait I know it is temporary...and I wait in expectation...STILL MY HEART!!
