final slideshows
Here are the final two slideshows! Kristin is so amazing and has such a gift. We were so blessed to have her with us each step of the way.
We all delight in Abe. He is such a bright light in our family! We also all miss Ethiopia. As we watched the final two slideshows, the kids all said how much they want to go back- we totally agree. A huge hole in our hearts can only be filled with the people of Ethiopia. Lord willing, He will allow us to return sooner than later.
Enjoy! To God be the Glory!

Wow! How awesome! Yes...to God be the glory! Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I have to tell you that the one picture of your daughter w/ Abe on Gotcha Day makes me cry EVERY time!! Well a lot of them do, but that one especially!
ok, you know i have to have one of those TEAM ETHIOPIA t-shirts ... where do i get one ... my heart is exploding w/ joy ... every picture just brings chills to my body at how amazing God is and what a miracle He has done in the Alexander family and because of your story Abe is already a missionary here in the USA ... people will now go to Ethiopia and love those people because of your journey ... I LOVE THAT .. The Power of the Lord !!!!
I love ya sister ... I would have loved to have been at the airport!!
AWESOME!! We are so happy for you guys and would LOVE to meet you sometime.
I can't wait to watch these two slideshows with a cup(s) of Ethiopian java tomorrow morning!
Perhaps our next journey to ET will be together! I miss it so...
I want to be fresh with tissues in hand to see these! Oh... (sigh)
love you, lor
Emily,
I wish I could find words to adequately express the pure joy it has been to follow your journey to Ethiopia and to Abe. The photos are incredible and bring me to tears each time I view them. I found your blog via mutual friends in TN. As a sister in Christ, a Texan, and a mother to both birth & adoptive children, I felt an instant connection the first time I visited Soli Deo Gloria. I will be following along as I cannot get enough of that precious baby Abe (nor the rest of your beautiful family). You are doing an incredible job capturing the blessing of adoption and the spirit of Ethiopia in your postings. I can only imagine how God will use His story for your family to prick the hearts of others to follow His command to care for the orphans of the world. Thank you!
Love & Blessings,
Kim
Best. Documented. Trip. Ever. Thank you so much for sharing all this with us. It's an incredible thing to see. Abe is absolutely beautiful.
The homecoming one won't work! Did it work for other people? Maybe it's my sytem acting up.
I will never tire of those slideshows. I just wish you could put the beautiful faces of the orphans on there. The pictures of ya'll with A's mom just about made me cry.
She couldn't have found a better family to raise Abe.
And remember, if you ever need someone to hold and rock him for a few hours, I'm just a phone call away! :)
Thank you for sharing your AMAZING journey with all of us!! God is soooo good!!!!
What a beautiful, beautiful family you have!!

Em...That was awesome. Thanks for "bringing us along on the trip". Being at the airport and seeing your whole travel troop (minus Kelley:( ) was so wonderful! Your travel weariness was so overpowered by your shear JOY at finally bringing Abe home forever!! Love you all! You might find me at your back door any time to get another Abe fix!
Nothing makes me cry like seeing your daughter with her tearful face holding Abe for the first time!
I also cried seeing Dea and Darius with the sign welcoming Abe!
I've been so blessed watching your journey!!!
Thank you for glorifying God!!!
Weeping with joy for your family who are complete strangers to me.
Literally stumbled upon your blog last year ... was deeply moved, as the Lord has been speaking to me about adoption for many years. Kept thinking you looked familiar, and realized it was from your EoA story. Am building my business in hopes that it will lead to a similar story for my family of 5. Thanks for sharing your journey. Isn't the body of Christ beautiful/

What a beautiful family you have. My favorite video was Day 4 - Gotcha Day. I had tears in my eyes throughout the video. The Might to Save song is wonderful too. Thanks for sharing your faith as well as your family.
What an amazing video!
As a fellow adoptive parent, I thought to write and tell you about the new guest home in Ethiopia specifically for adoptive parents and volunteer groups for the benefit of orphans in Ethiopia. Now that it is up and running, we would love to share the vision with other adoptive parents. You can see more at http://www.ethiopiaguesthome.com.
If you would like to post a link, send me an email at dave@ethiopiaguesthome.com and I’ll forward you the information.

What an incredible adventure you have endevored. Thank you for sharing your memories of your time with us to see. What a lucky little boy to be a part of such a loving family. You have touched so many lives that you will never even relize the impact of what you did for the people of Ethiopia. May god bless you and your family.
I was given your blog through the grape vine, and oh so glad!
We serve a MIGHTY God and I'm touched to see how God is using your family and moving in your lives and those around you.
Praise to HIM forever amen!
May you continue to have strength an and hope and grace as you adjust to a 'new' life with another bundle of joy in your care for ever and ever. This little guy was created for this exact time and season and for your family, and God was behind it all... wow!!
Congrats from another sister in the Lord.
