a new chain

Remember the chain game? Well, that one didn't turn out as planned........but Avery had the best idea today. She made a new chain to countdown the days until we head out the door for Ethiopia. We leave on August 21st. Apparently with all of the cases being pushed through before the courts close has created a little backlog at the Embassy. So instead of traveling 3 weeks after a successful court date, we leave 4 weeks post court. We will spend 2 days in Dubai and then go get Abe!! We will return on Labor Day (Sept. 1st) We can't wait!!

What a great idea, Avery! :) It's a happy, happy chain!
Some friends of ours lived in Dubai for a few years and said it is an amazing place, so I'm looking forward to hearing about that part of your trip, too. But, not as much as seeing you finally have Abe in your clan! :)
Happy chain counting! See you soon!

You'll have plenty to pack while you wait! It'll go by quick!

I remember that chain game! Oh how mad were you way back when it had to come down - now it's all a distant memory and little Abe will be staring into your eyes so soon!

Love and hugs girl!

I like Avery's idea :)

Looks like we won't be seeing you guys in Ethiopia...I don't think we're going to make it through before the courts close. BUT, we will definitely come to TX to visit the whole family! Good times!
