time
Time is something that I'm struggling with lately. Time. I can sometimes hear the tick-tock of the clock in my head as the Ethiopian courts are closing at the first of August. I know that if we are meant to get through courts before they close, we will. I know that His timing is best, I do, but I still struggle with thinking about our baby boy spending any more time without his family than necessary!
I read this yesterday, "Wait patiently with Me while I bless you. Don't rush into My Presence with time-consciousness gnawing at your mind." Honestly, this was my devo as the tick-tock of the clock was ringing in my head. Ok, gnawing at me, I admit it!
One of the hard to grasp truths of the Lord is that He isn't bound by the constraints of time. He dwells in timelessness. "For you time is a protection; you're a frail creature who can handle only twenty-four-hour segments of life." This waiting stuff is hard.
So by faith, we are trusting in the One who was, and is and is to come for baby A, our family and the day we will be united! Have I mentioned how I ache to get my hands on his cheeks, hair, lips, etc.....??

Hey Emily...sometimes it feels like time stands still and other times it goes by too quickly. This is one crazy ride.....
Time feels like it's flying by for me...but nothing is happening. It is difficult to wait right now. Our babies need us! I am hoping and praying that we make it through court before it closes in August.
Praying for you today, dear sister. Moment by moment .... He knows ... and He hears your cries. A whole lotta rejoicing is gonna be goin' on when all you waiting families are united!!! Much love~ Shelly
Ugh. I know sweet sister. This is the hardest part. Can't wait for you to hear that blessed news...

I love your honesty and also love Lori's comment. I've been feeling like time is flying by and I'm missing so much. The Lord's timing is truly perfect.
Praying your arms are filled, his cheeks are covered in kisses and that the Lord does indeed bless you in your wait!!!!
check out my blog I am a new aunt to a ET boy!!!!!
Oh my sweet friend. I know this is so so so hard. Praying for you. Praying for peace, for Gods perfect timing, praying His timing is sooner then later. :)
Huge hugs!!
I am needing to come watch that video :) Want to see sweet baby boy Abe!
I've only been waiting 10 weeks to see our little one and I'm already impatient! I can't imagine how hard it has been for y'all! I am praying for you and I miss everyone beyond words!! I pray that God wraps his loving arms around you and gives you peace!! (and a court date in the near future!!) Love you!!!
The wait is hard on grandparents too. We wait in faith with you.
Love,
Mom
I hear you loud and clear. Things are so crazy right now that I can't even allow my mind to go there. :-) I am just trusting Him and keeping myself busy busy busy....as you know is pretty easy to do with four kiddos at home! :-)
Blessings to you!
Kristy
