another happy story
Please read this post on Journey to Baby Baker! (titled Leap of Faith) It is amazing to read these stories of the Lord bringing families together.
Trusting in His perfect timing when we will be able to share our happy referral story:)
Tomorrow marks 18 weeks.

Superblogger! Three posts already and the week isn't over. So many people have been getting their referrals lately -- hopefully your's isn't far away!!
I am sure you are very close. We are family from NH and we waited over 5 months for our referral. I thought it would never happen but it did! We are now currently waiting for a court date and we are hoping to bring our little girl home soon. I thought I would say hi.
Lenka
hey!!!
just to make sure you know--we are meeting for dinner on SUNDAY at 7pm. :)
Yes, ours will be soon. Don't you just love the Baker story! Good stuff -
There is a local gal who is in the exact same request "group" as Michael and I. She is also with WHFC and May is her date. Once she gets her referral I will be a basket case every time the phone rings! So, on the WH yahoo group, if you see corrine get a referral, I'll be somewhat soon after. I wish she had a blog so I could pester her! ;) Lor
Ok, it will be soon but I'm already out of the contest. The Hausam's picked the 15th. DARNIT! Oops, I'm making this about me again, aren't I. Sorry.
Seriously! That phone is going to ring any day! Praying for your patience!
Love you!
I am praying for you and your family everyday. I wish I could give you a hug, have a cup a coffee and just talk. These are the reasons it is so hard to make friends through the internet. Hang in there!
ok that rocks my world ... i love how God just surprises us and throws us in the deep end and we swim !!! i can't wait to see this child's picture ... there are so many children who need homes that some days i just beg God to drop them off on my door step and I promise to care and love them forever !!!!
love ya sister...
Thanks for posting this story I went to read it and it is so amazing!! I found you through Gwen and I have heard lots about ya adopting from ethiopia..I hope the wait is short and your new angels are home quickly.
That was beautiful, thanks for sharing...I will pray for peace for you as you wait for your referral! It seems like advent is an appropriate time to be waiting for news of our children!
Emily you have to be sooooo close to getting your referral! Don't you just get jumpy everytime the phone rings? HAHA I pray your family gets your good news soon, and even better if it happens during this wonderful Christmas season.
I'm so thankful for all these wonderful blog friends we have to brighten our season through all their good news :-) Isn't it wonderful.
Praying for your family
Just wanted to let you know that we think about you often and know that the wait can be daunting at times...but believe that it is so close. Checking your blog daily and can't wait to see those babies. See you Sunday night:)
