brotherly love

"Love one another with brotherly affection, Outdo one another with in showing honor." Romans 12:10
(big brother comforting Abe after he got off of a ride)

We just returned from a trip to San Antonio. The big boys were at church camp in Colorado and flew down to meet us while the rest of us enjoyed a nice long weekend there. Moody was speaking at a tooth meeting and we got to play at the fabulous new J.W Marriott Hill Country resort. I was very happy to have all my chicks back under my wing once they returned. :)

Hill turned 15 yesterday. Hard to believe. Really hard to believe. Do I really have a high schooler now?? Wow.

Hill is a great kid, natural leader and a joy to parent. Moody and I were so proud of him yesterday as he chose to spend his birthday celebrating Abe, not himself. We went to the most amazing amusement park in San Antonio for special kids called Morgan's Wonderland.

It was incredible. We all had a blast. I think the teenagers had the most fun. Moody and I felt so blessed! Enjoy the little video Avery made of our time at the park.  Abe's smile says it all.

So cool! Remember, we can arrange a marriage for our oldest kids and our Ethiopian kids...sound good? Hill sounds like an incredible kid. I have to say that my oldest daughter is the same way- we're so blessed!

Love. This. Story.
Hard to leave Team Hilliard in Hong Kong. But the hope of meeting Team Alexander Stateside is pretty darn exciting!
Love & Blessings,

Emily,
Thanks for sharing these sweet memories of your family with the rest of us. I was brought to tears (again!) watching your video. The joy on Abe's face when he got to swing was absolutely precious and priceless... makes me want to go to Morgan's Wonderland!
