still waiting
Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!! Psalm 31:24
Still waiting. The uncle came to court, but unfortunately had an invalid id card. Please pray that he is able to get a valid card before Friday. The good news is that our case has been left open, and he just needs to take his new card to the courts.
This mothers heart is sad as I long to go get my son, but will meditate on the above scripture and hope in Him. I do know that His timing is best.

Sorry to hear this news. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
I know what your heart is feeling- the Neal family is still praying!!
We love you guys!!
So sorry you didn't get the news you were hoping for today. We had the same problem at court in May...uncle with an incorrect id. I pray that the issue is fixed quickly and you are holding your little boy SOON!
Praying for you ALL and trusting HIS timing.
Thinking of you and hoping so greatly that everything works out.
oh Emily. I am so sorry. Praying that he is able to get the correct id soon. I agree, though, that it is good news that they left the case open. love, ryane
Where have I been? Obviously, not reading blogs. I've been missing out on all that is going on with your family!
Know that I will be praying fervently for you all to pass court this week. Oh, the waiting. It is hard.
Hang in there. Not much longer...
Blessings,
The Waltons
Aagh, Frustrating but still totally doable! It's gonna happen! And we are all holding our breath with you and cheering it on from the sidelines! Prayers flying on your behalf and for the uncle to be able to get his ID and back to court asap! St. Raphael, pray for us! Love M

I am praying with you!!! I know how very hard the wait can be...and how common the delays unfortunately are. Eesh. BUT, God is so much bigger and I'm thankful He has all of this in His hands.
Congrats on Abe's readoption. Loved seeing photos of your beautiful family. :-)
Sweet blessings,

No worries. There is a reason for this bump in the road. I just know that your waiting son will be in your precious arms very soon.
Luke 1:43 "Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!"
Fervently praying for you all and for God's Will.
Be patient and strong!!!

OK, so my rss reader just updated you! It had like 20 posts that I had to go back on! Geesh. I feel so lame. So excited. But umm, you missed your 48 hour window. ;) Love ya H
Sweet Emily,
As you draw near the Lord, I pray you will find peace and rest in His presence. He is our security. He is in control. He is trustworthy. His plans are perfect. And I cannot wait to see how His story for your precious new son unfolds.
Love, Blessings & Prayer from Hong Kong,
Kim
Emily...we will be praying!!! I am feeling so many of those emotions right along with you!! I can't wait to hear that you've passed court!!
My name is Kelly and I just want to tell you how God has used your blog that I found through the Wheeler's blog to draw me to Ethiopia. We have 5 boys and adopted a little girl from Guatemala. I am now ready to adopt from Ethiopia. My husband is not yet ready for that calling. I am praying he will hear the call as well and we can go to Ethiopia for another precious daughter. I just wanted you to know that your story is making an impact on people you don't even know. I pray God's blessing on your sweet family. And I wish I could know you in person!
