Abenezer William Alexander- "Abe"

But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!" So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God. Galatians 4:4-7
2 court dates in one week!! Abe was officially readopted this morning in Ft. Worth. It was a special time for the whole family. The judge and attorney did a great job and included everyone. The kids each had to state their full name and promise to be the best brothers and sisters to their little brother. (My dad assured the judge they already are!)
They each got to hit the gavel. It was much more emotional than I expected. What a precious opportunity to once again promise to love this little blessing forever.

Moody being questioned about the stability of our marriage! :)
Thank you Rainey for coming and taking the pics for us! We loved having you there.

We hope that our court date on Wednesday goes as well as this one did! Please pray for us on Tuesday night (Wed. in Ethiopia) as a judge prayerfully declares our sweet boy over there an Alexander. We will let you know as soon as we do! :)

Congratulations, I was just wondering how long you all waited to start the process for your second adoption that you are waiting on. I have not had time to go back and read your entire blog, but was curious about this. I would love to hear from you, joejenaz@yahoo.com

Thanks, we go to Fort Worth the 28th of this month for our court appearance with adopting Kebeb.

I have come to your blog by way of Praying for Abby - Riggs family. Your "screen name" caught my eye - abesmom. It is one that I use often because my son is an Abraham. I am glad to visit your blog. You are an amazing family with so much love being given to ALL your kiddos. I am praying for your next court date to go smoothly so that Abe can be yours officially!
God Bless!
