merry christmas and happy new year!
The birthday cake that Avery whipped up!
I pray that you and yours had a very Merry Christmas and are ready for a great 2009!
We have been very chill over here at Team Alexander and loving it. We loved having Abe with us this Christmas. He didn't know what to think about all of it, but is enjoying his new toys. He is probably enjoying a little break from therapy too. :) His neck and trunk continue to get stronger and he is working hard. We praise the Lord for the progress he continues to make!
Abe and his tiny Toms!! :)
Thought you would like to see that TOMS will be taking over 30,000 pairs of shoes to Ethiopia! So great that so many people responded to this incredible goal they set for the month of December.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Looking forward to our time on the 31st - love that your holiday has been relaxing. You guys are dear.
Eliza and I got TOM's too. Zach is wishing that they had his size. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas! Yummy cake and great pics of all the kiddos. Esp. the one's in footie pajamas. I'll be borrowing those soon!
Abbee- I can tell you are getting stronger! Way to go big guy! Tell your mommy and daddy and brothers and sisters Merry Christmas from Aunt Kristin....miss you all much. Love KJL
I can see Abe's new strength in these few pictures - it's astounding the change in his body!
I'm thrilled that you're chillin and just enjoying each others company!! Happy New Year!!
Sounds like you had a great holiday! I am so glad that Abe is thriving in your love!!
I love the pic of all the kids together..and my girls made us a cake too yesterday...aren't little girls fun in the kitchen?? And, yes, if yall lived closer..my hubby would be happy to come on over and start taking down your decorations too...We're finally done here but I'm left with a messy house still, yuck, kristi
What precious photos! Praising God for Abe's determination and strength gained. Keep up the great work Abe and you will be chasing our miracle boy Sam before long!
what a precious cake! love abe's cute toms...levi got some, too! happy new year sweet friend!!!
hey emily - i have never met you guys, i got connected to your blog through my in-laws - who told me about some of their friends (the oatsvalls), who had an adoption blog. we are in seminary right now, so adoption is still a couple years away - but it's very exciting to see how God is working in Abe's story (we are hoping to adopt from Africa as well). Your story has definitely resonated with me (I'm a Texas girl as well - went to Baylor), and we'll definitely be praying for you in the coming months!

I had a thought the other day ... What if my sweet Abigail and Joseph were to be wearing Toms when I arrive to bring them home ... I love mine, but love them more because of what they represent ...
Abe will be so handsome in his tiny Toms ... Love ya sister and praying daily for the MIRACLE !!!
Love those camo Toms! I have on a pair of my Toms right now and I wore them on my trip to LA - told my sister about the deal where they give a pair for each pair bought. I wonder if they sell this line of shoes there or if they can only order online. I'll have to check their website and see. So great that y'all have had a relaxing holiday. 2009 may be our best year yet!!! Happy New Year!
