Off to camp

Team Alexander is headed to camp!  We leave to pick up the boys and head right next door to the most incredible family camp.  One week of togetherness.  I can't wait to spend uninterrupted time with my man and my kids.  Only wish our little man were here to join us!

We will be doing ropes courses, lazy rivers, baseball, blobbing, water sliding, fellowshipping, eating, playing, putt-putt golfing, canoeing, tubing, bluff jumping and the list goes on and on.  I won't be blogging though. This is roughing it, I know! :)  I will have my blackberry so my agency can reach me to tell me great news regarding court dates and what not!! :)  Email me referral and travel date news please!  I will be praying for all those waiting for referrals and those waiting to travel.

Here are a few pics from last summer at family camp.  The first one is my friend Julie and her precious family!  Don't try to click on her name, she doesn't have a blog. :)  She is on her second Ethiopian adoption and still no blog........hmmmm?!

What camp experience is complete without sack racing?

Or hula-hooping with a glass of water taped to a helmet on your head? :)

Kids dining with new friends.

Boys working hard not to get thrown off the tube!

Dad and Ave about to brave the ropes course!
Hope everyone has a great week!

I can't wait until the Winter Family can go to Family Camp! My husband was a counselor at Kanakuk when he was in college and LOVED it.

Hope you guys have fun! Praying you get a court date soon!

Emily!
Just got an e-mail from Kristin Anderson Hill directing me to your blog. Will explain more tomorrow, but we're headed to family camp as well. How fun that we chose the same week! Drive safely, see you tomorrow evening in Kauai. :)

How was it? Did you guys have a wonderful time? I've been praying that it would be a truly rejuvenating, relaxing, restful time for you and that you guys would have a TON of fun together. I pray you come home filled up, Em.

Guys...we miss you. Jess has been kind, but she is only one person and therefore not near as fun as all of our brothers and sisters. She even took us to the doggie hotel and left us there. Mo tried to make a run for it...he even knocked down that mean Jess while making a break. A mean neighbor helped her though and caught Mo by his leash and brought him home. We are ready for you to bail us out.

Love,

Your dogs in the hood
