Happy Abe Day! Thanks for posting this again. You were one of the first adoption blogs that I ever found. I'm a friend of Heather Holland's and when she knew we were adopting from ET, she pointed me your way. Thanks for posting this video. I remember watching it the first time. It's beautiful. Watching your journey was so encouraging to me. Blessings to you as you bring your new daughter into your family!

Happy (belated) Abe day!!! What an amazing three years. Abe has touched more hearts than I can even imagine. He is an true miracle.

I can't believe it has been three years since I first watched this video...a video that (seriously) changed my family and life!!!! I still remember the day I saw it...I watched it as soon as it was posted, because I had just spent the day with the adoptive mom of "R" (the sweet little girl in the pink sweater in your video). She was leaving to travel to Addis the following week and told me that I "had to check out the video that a family had posted because "R" was in it!" It was the first time I would ever see KVI, Eyob, all of the beautiful nannies, etc. What a blessing. It was from that day on that I was totally, completely gone...I knew I had to adopt from Ethiopia. What a God thing to end up adopting Grace from KVI - icing on the cake. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video again. It brought me tears of joy!
P.S. Andrea Y. says you are going to the Created For Care retreat...maybe we will finally meet!!! :)

Hello, I love your pictures and story! I know you mentioned it was 3 years ago so this is probably really a long shot, but I was wondering if you would know anything about if the two girls in pictured in pic101 are available for adoption (younger girl orange shirt and denim overall dress, older girl with grey/white shirt with text on the front)? Thanks for sharing, Andrea Ellett (ellettja@yahoo.com)

Hi
My name is Jenna and I came across your site. Happy Abe Day, what a very special day to celebrate a very special and precious little boy named Abe. By looking at the pictures, reading about Abe, and seeing his video's I know he has come a very long way. He is an amazing earthly angel, and so lucky to have wonderful, loving and caring parents, and brother's and sister, who love him and care about. I was born with a rare life threatening disease, and diagnosed with 12 other conditions, and I also have developmental delays. My family doesn't have a lot of money because of all my medical bills, but if I had a lot of money and could afford it, I would sponsor a child. My heart is there though. I would give it to an orphan. I love raising money though, and I am raising money so our local BC, Children's Hospital can build a new hospital. i want to raise a million dollars. I love it when people sign my guestbook. www.miraclechamp.webs.com

I am a random visitor to your blog. I saw this video it seems almost three years ago, so it must have been right after it was first made. We were looking to Ethiopian adoption. I BAWLED my head off through the entire thing that first time I saw it and then made my husband come watch as well. I'd never seen an adoption video before. Your family was a small piece of the puzzle for me in knowing this was something a family could even do! This song is now one of my favorites. Thank you for sharing and for blogging. Congrats.
