8
It has been eight weeks of waiting for a referral. Jaclyn has been doing posts with numbers each week as they wait for sweet Judah's court date. I thought it was cute, and I hope she is ok with me pirating the idea!
Since Arlington will soon be home to the Dallas Cowboys, I decided to pay tribute to a Cowboy great-- Troy Aikman. Number 8! Praying the next 8 weeks will involve a referral for our kids.

"Boo Cowboys, Go Redskins!" Or at least that what we say in our house. We begin week ten on Tues., unless of course we get a call on Mon.
Shucks!! I was hoping that we would get a referral 6 to 8 weeks after all of our paperwork is turned in. I guess not? It seems to be taking a long time for everyone right now!! So excited you are coming to the end of waiting! It'll be soon!!
Eight weeks is right after Thanksgiving and wouldn't that be a truly THANKFUL Thanksgiving Day!
Col. 1:11...Paul's beautiful prayer for "the strengthening with all power according to His glorious might"
is, "for endurance and patience with joy". Praying that for you today and
until you get the call.
Love,
Mom
I can just see it now...packing up all the Christmas presents because we all have a 3am flight on our way to a little country called...oh...ETHIOPIA... :) God's perfect timing...He is just waiting to watch you guys enjoy His perfect timing.
How fun would it be if we can travel around the same time ...Me in China and you in Ethiopia ... I can think of no better way to spend the holidays than seeing, holding, and loving on our precious little ones!!
i pray for them daily!!!
I have been following your blog for about a month. Your family reminds me alot of ours. We have 4 biological children, our 5th is adopted (domestic) and we are at it again. We have said many times we were done but God keeps putting children on our heart and this time from Ethiopia. We are hoping for a 3 year old boy and a sibling if he has one. We are trusting God on the siblings. We are just waiting for CIS approval and we will be on the waitlist. I will continue to watch and wait for lucky #8! P.S we are using Gladneys. Check out our blog "Crazy Thorne Happenings" on the Gladney blog site. Blessings
how 'bout them cowboys!!! :O) Troy was the best. i'm sitting in my hotel thinking how we are going to miss our church this morning. we really like that new baptist church in willow park. hope ya'll have a great sunday!
Defintiely don't mind!! It is so nice to do at the end of the week...it makes me feel a little more closer to him! I am really hoping that the next 8 weeks bring GREAT news for your family!!!
I can't wait to meet the newest Alexanders! Time will fly by!
No worries on posting our blog. Have a great week.
Blessings, Pam
Thanks Emily, me to!

We fly our 3x5 Cowboys flag in front of our house even though we are in some serious Colt country here in Indiana. Here's hoping that lucky #8 brings you some good news! I will be watching! Thanks for sending me your page link again...I can't believe I did that. Amy
