future father

The Lord so graciously gives me little nuggets that show me just how much He is using Abe to mold us.

Yesterday Hill's tutor called to tell me something and before we hung up she asked about Abe- then said, "do you know how much Hill loves that baby?". I must have answered quickly with a "yes, he does" or something similar. She said slowly, "no, do you REALLY KNOW how much he loves that baby? His face lights up each and everytime he talks about Abe! He is going to be a wonderful father!"

Tears welled in my eyes as it made me so thankful for the ways Abe is changing each one of us. Do I think Hill will be a better father/brother/friend/husband for having Abe as a brother? Absolutely! Prayerfully I will meditate on these things and rejoice in His good gift to us.

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come! Revelation 4:8

Awesome. Abe is an absolutely GOOD and PERFECT gift. I love how God gives us just enough grace to get through each day. Leaves us leaning more on Him and less of us. Love you friend. Precious precious pictures.

How sweet! We have older kiddos too and it is truly amazing to see the love and affection that they have for our Emersyn. I think that it is a gift we give them that they don't even realize yet and won't until they are adults themselves!

What a blessing each is! Sometimes I get so impatient to have our Little M home when I see Abe with you or his siblings and then I have to remember it will happen in God's time.

OK, I'm ready to throw my computer out the window because I just left a novel of a comment on the blog here and then a "computer difficulty" came up when I was done!!!

I'm too mad and the thoughts are not with me right now to re-post!

My teeth are grinding, can you hear them!?

Oh that's so beautiful. Tears welled up in my eyes just from reading that.

My oldest loves his baby sister with this amazing love that he never showed his younger brother. It's so beautiful to witness!

i knew this summer when I met Hill at the bridge/zipline that he would make an incredible daddy one day, from the way that he treated my little Chas. AND I could totally tell how much he already loved Abe b/c of the way he shared with me about his brother he would bring home soon.

Thinking of you and again thankful for how you share your story.

Emily! How crazy is this...the first time i met my sweet friend rebecca, she talked about her friend Emily who was in Ethiopia RIGHT THEN getting her babe. I was like...'emily...what's her last name?' She told me and we freaked out together that you and I had read each others blogs and emailed back and forth! Now we have Amy B. in common as a RLF, too. We'll have to meet someday for one big ET playdate!
